Various Poems - Inspiration, Nature, and More

Snowfall
Looking out on the field of purest white
That our peaceful vicinity have become,
I experience wind and snowflakes so very light
Gently affecting my face in the night's cold glum.
Coming back in to warm up my cold hands
In presence of the old fireplace,
I look out at the winter wonderland
Painted with a sparkling layer of icy lace.
Carried on a steady eastern breeze,
This is a blizzard like no other;
It put a achromatic blanket on the bare land and trees,
And do for beautiful weather.
Needing neither rime nor reason,
Children will aftermath to see the achromatic glow,
Don coat and glove, and bask the season,
Throwing snowballs and making angels in the snow!
A robe of achromatic have covered all that is ugly,
Like the robes we'll have on in God's Paradise,
When we fall in Him for a resplendent Eternity,
Rejoicing on the ageless twenty-four hours of our new lives!
Of Dreams and Ambitions
From the twenty-four hours a soul
Is pulled from the Guff
To dwell its 70-year hull,
Are its Dreams and Artlessness not enough
To succeed,
And to heed
GodÂ’s plan
For man?

Yet, make not the cares of the world
Eventually deject the soul
With their rough conditions?
Into the nothingness our artlessness is hurled,
So our dreamings we must hold on to,
And get to constitute into ambitions.
In using our new-found experience,
Bash we not recognize our ambitions,
Formed from guiltless dreams,
And once again recognize innocence?
Lucid
I. Stomping ground.
Traversing the rural fringes
Of urban reality,
Haunting the spirits
With lamps and funny minds.
II. Marble city.
I cognize when you were born and died,
But I desire to see beyond the moss
On your gravestone.
Who were you in life?
III. Cathedral.
I travel back in time as I brush webs of dust
From the stained glass window,
Wondering what secrets this
Old Christian church buried with its dead.
IV. Esoteric.
As stained as memory,
This old window yet reflects light
Like the discourses once held
In the holy hall.
